We sold our business in Kent and retired to Luxulyan in Cornwall.
The first six months were great, then the boredom really started to set in, so we decided to look for a "hobby business".
Leisure accommodation that we could never seem to find when we wanted to grab a few days off from our usual 7 day working week. Nothing formal or regimented, just to relax and do as you please, when you want and how you want.
We spent over 2 years searching for the right quality property in this area, though private, within walking distance of local facilities and central for all touring, walking, sporting and beach,
with nice rooms and a garden just to relax out in, if you want to do
nothing at all.
With "Trescowe" in Tywardreath near Par,
we think we found most all.
Built in 1880, Trescowe, known locally as "The Old Vets" or
"The House on Duck Pond Corner" is set in one acre of slightly elevated gardens, opposite the village lake and park,
with fields and country to rear.
Almost country living, without the remoteness......
a lovely "lifestyle home", situated centrally between Fowey, (nightmare parking even if you live there) and the Eden Project,
with Par Beach just a few minutes away.
Our aim is to provide a relaxing holiday or short break for couples who want a social and relaxing environment.
A nice place for nice people, run on a trust and honesty basis.
